Tyler Hamilton rode an amazing 4:33:13 on Silverman 180km 3000+m elevation bike course.
He was part of a relay consisting of Scott Kauffman (swim) and Ernest Kimeli (run). They tried to get an award for going faster than 8 hours but succeeded to get a second place with 8:17 (30 seconds behind the 1st relay team). [...]

Lance Amrstrong does NYC Marathon

Lance Amrstrong finished New York City Marathon in 2:59. Bravo! Some articles report he said it was one of this toughest challenges - it is great he admits it and it shows that marathon is far from a joke, especially if you can do a sub 3h.
Congratulations Lance! Hope you met your fundraising goals!
