This 11th October was my third time in Kona and nothing remarkable happened. If anything, the indifferent outcome may induce me to do it again next year and try to improve on the quality of my race.

Dejan Patrcevic qualified as 5th overall in Ironman Austria 2008 as Ironman PRO. Is a good friend and a cool guy with his own view on Ironman world. His race number is 171.

Another big problem with the Ironman World Championship is qualifications. With so much illegal drafting in qualification races Ironman Hawaii is not about the best of the best only but it has an uncomfortably large percentage of triathletes who qualified by cheating.
Of course Ironman media in the next few weeks will be super obsessed how almost everything is perfect and just the way it should be. I am kind of a grumpy guy and I feel like I should always attract some attention by saying different stuff - and luckily it is not hard to complain [...]
Chrissie Wellington’s race at Ironman World Championship 2007 was her second Ironman race ever. Her first race was Ironman Korea which she won only seven weeks before Ironman World Championship.
