Bryan Rhodes and Belinda Granger win Ironman Canada 2008

Bryan Rhodes took Ironman Canada 2008 first place with 8:30:12 and Belinda Granger took first place with 9:17:58. Ironman Canada is a slow bike race and this obviously suits Bryan Rhodes who also does well at Ironman UK.

13th July, 2008, offered an amazing opportunity - three of the biggest European Ironman distance races (Ironman Austria, Ironman Zurich and Challenge Roth) took place and four of my triathlon coaching clients have completed all of them with success. New Women’s Ironman World Record - Yvonne Van Vlerken: 8:45:48

I am still in Klagenfurt which celebrated the new Woman’s Ironman World Record set by first woman: 8:47:26 by Sandra Wallenhorst. However Yvonne Van Vlerken has even bettered that record almost at the same time of day few hundred kilometers - she did 8:45:48 in Challenge Roth 2008.
