Natasha Badmann shows perfect form and sets world record

Natasha Badmann is not my favorite type but I must admit can only remain in awe of her achievement and fighting spirit. I watched her dominate at Ironman South Africa in March and inspite of no competition to chase her the 6 time Ironman World Champion still pushed herself to an awesome result of 09:20:57.
Now she demonstrates her power through another amazing result of 4:08:17 at Ironman 70.3 Eagleman. Besides this being the “world record” or the “best result” for Ironman 70.3 series it is interesting to say that Natasha had a really bad swim so she did it all on the bike and the run. Also this is a middle distance, short for her, yet, at the age of 40 she still has the speed to beat the “kids”.
Bravo!

Natasha Badmann has demonstrated good form and speed early in the season. Hopefully she will build up on this even more and peak at Ironman World Championship in November. However, for someone with her fitness, I doubt there are many ups and downs in training and racing. She seams to be a machine and just keeps going. Only thing that can stop her is probably a very very bad day.
